Her kiss
at dawn is what
I miss
the most –
as day break sings
a ghost
refrain:
love dims, to dust
and pain.

Awe.. I’ve been kissing the sun, smiling a million teeth, viewing the moon for the first time. Learning to be grateful for all I’ve been blessed with… Which is more than anyone deserves. ๐ Hope you’ve been well too! ๐

Hey, leave me a comment on Hunger Pains, that I posted today, if you get a chance. I worked a lot on it…but now I’m just not sure about it.

Ryan, oh Ryan.. I have read this musette so many times, and could not make myself to write a comment afraid that it would not be the usual hype and happy one, for these shadows that swerve and evade are too tight on the chest, too painful to have a memorial.. sigh..
p.s. i swear you will make me bi-polar with the swift change of tone and mood between your poems ๐ ๐

Haha, you make me smile Dajena. As long as it made you feel something then I’m happy – you’re the eternal optimist but a lot of my writing comes from darkness. You’re comment is wonderful feedback in itself, thank you. Maybe I should put a warning at the start of the dark ones-I’d hate to tarnish those happy skittles ;D
