Can I know how you are making these pictures? 😀

I use lots of different methods – photography, painting, drawing, digital art…and sometimes a combination of each. This one is hand drawn, photographed, filtered and layered using a computer art program. Thanks for your interest 🙂

As long as the flame doesn’t burn the paper, it’s all good, grin.

Oh this is a grand piece, Ryan! And I wanted to mention before that I love the art you have accompanying each post.

Thank you again, Azul. The art often takes longer to create than the poem which is odd because I only think of it as being there to support the writing… 😀

So then, the words just fall out on the page–but you have to work at the art? 🙂 However it happens, your posts are a fave part of my reading day 🙂

Haha, yeah – the poems just roll out of my head fully formed and complete…don’t yours? 😜
What a lovely comment, too. Thank you ☺️

Well, it doesn’t happen ALL the time, but on rare occasions they seem to just fall onto the page for me–and that’s a good day for sure 🙂 You’re most welcome always 🙂

Loved it in many levels: the capricious heart, the offerings, and the sound of flapping paper, like singed wings of a night moth. Imagery is perfect and this form has your style married to it!
Missed you too 😀
