Whispers

I am he who worships Spring
in moonlit mountain shallows.

I am he who watches you,
insubstantial shadow.

I am he who brings night’s ship
safe to morning’s shore.

I am he who loves you,
your servant, evermore.

  1. A stunning piece, my friend, and I love the silhouette of flora against a morning sky, whispering as the speaker in your poem. You create perfect art!

    • Thank you, Melinda. The greatest thing about a love like this is that it only takes two people to believe that it’s real for it to become real. Very cool. I’ll let you in on something else I’m certain of – beautiful souls like yours shine so very brightly that they will always draw a beautiful soul mate to them.

  2. Silently breathtaking. And I am with “busymindthinking” above. I feel as though I say the same things each time,Mobutu that is because each piece of yours I read is of the same golden caliber. Great piece. πŸ˜ƒ

    • Thank you so much, Lexa. Beautiful feedback! And, as I said to Belinda, please don’t stop even if it feels repetitious to you – I thrive on your kind words πŸ™‚ I hope you’re well and all recovered from your trip down under.

  3. Ryan, this is truly wonderful. The title, β€œWhispers” is perfect, as this poem has such a soft spoken character, a beautiful expression of love. Your stunning image adds to an already lovely poetic presentation. Take care. ~ Mia
