  1. “Set free, the broken moon and me.” I love this last line. I had to define ‘abscond’ and it said to leave hurriedly. Your speaker is doing this beyond time so perhaps, he is thinking back or just replaying this scene in his head. The moon is broken, fractured, and he is like the broken moon I think. But he is also “set free” and I think that’s a good thing for him. He remembers but it’s better that in whatever present time he is in, now he is free to get on with life. Another great one πŸ™‚
