There’s a lot going on in the world
today. My TV stays off
for morning’s sake.
Another plane. Child. Innocent.
Betrayal. And that flag hanging
over it all.
I almost feel guilty when sorrow engulfs me.
How does an old paw print
eclipse any of that?
But my sphere spins slowly, the breeze
carries ghosts, familiar barksโ
a smell of wet coats.
Ryan Stone
My favorite, I think.

Once has to make an effort to keep their heads above the pain and hurt every day in and out. Restless poem Ryan. I love this point of view, it makes the events stand out even more, and the beauty evident. How are your puppies?

Thank you, Dajena. This is an older one about a dog who spends his time running through fields in the sky. My present dog is wonderful, thank you ๐

Losing a dog is such a sad thing, Carolina…but not enough to stop me having one as a friend and experiencing all the joy that comes with the bond. Sorry for your loss and thank you for your kind feedback ๐

I know Ryan it is too sad dogs are unique as people are often better not easy to forget one as can’t never be replaced, but I love dogs and like you wont stop me to have one as friend ๐

Aw dogs are often the hardest to lose, they are such constant companions and so forgiving. Even 5 years after mydog Nikki, I still miss her and certain things like paw prints as you say, or other reminders, have me thinking about her. They are truly family.

Hi Ryan. Iโm doing good and hope things are good for you too. Hope you enjoy the holidays as they are fast approaching. Are you a shopper, helping by Christmas presents or an in an out kind of guy, where you go once because you absolutely have to?

No holidays for me, unfortunately. But I do love this time of year. I do as much shopping as I can online-I hate crowds. How about you? Organized or last minute?

Iโm a Mix, I try to do as much as an can before the second week of December as the malls become crowded. Overall, I online shop most and the other 1/3 of shopping I do at the mall. I attempt to finish early but stuff usually gets left to the bitter end. Organized depends on the year I guess. Sorry you donโt get time off, not even Christmas or New Years?
